Notice on the Final Exam of Class of 2023 “Situation and Policy” Teaching Classes

To students in all teaching classes and related teachers of class of 2023,

According to the “Notice on the Adjustment of Teaching Arrangement of ‘Situation and Policy’ Course in the Second Semester of 2022-2023 Academic Year” of the School of Marxism, and in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Office of Academic Affairs, the arrangements for the final exam of class of 2023 (seniors) “Situation and Policy” teaching classes in the spring semester of 2023 are now announced as follows:

1. Exam form:

Submit a major course completion paper based on the exam topic and specific requirements.

2. Exam topic:

The report to the 20th National Congress of the CPC pointed out that education, science and technology, and human resources are the foundational and strategic pillars for building a modern socialist country in all respects. We must regard science and technology as our primary productive force, talent as our primary resource, and innovation as our primary driver of growth. We will fully implement the strategy for invigorating China through science and education, the workforce development strategy, and the innovation-driven development strategy, and speed up efforts to achieve greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology. Please combine your own professional knowledge and the actual situation in our province and University to discuss how to contribute youthful energy to achieving greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology.

3. Exam requirements:

(1) The paper for the final exam shall be no less than 3,500 words, and please indicate basic information such as name, student number, and school.

(2) The content shall be closely centered on the exam topic, and the specific title of the exam paper may be self-determined.

(3) The writing form is A4 page size, the text is in small 4-point Song font and 1.5-times line spacing, and this paper shall include the title, abstract, text, and references.

(4) Students must adhere to independent thinking and abide by academic norms in the final exam paper. Those who have serious plagiarism or significantly deviate from the topic will not be graded.

(5) The deadline for submission is the 8th teaching week, and the exact time and submission way are subject to the requirements of the teacher of the class.
